Steve Springer is a Compass Broker and coastal San Diego specialist with nearly two decades of experience. He focuses on Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, and Encinitas, with deep expertise in oceanfront homes, duplexes, short-term rental properties, second homes, and 2–4 unit investments.
More than half of Steve's business is in Mission Beach, where he is one of the most active agents in the market. His background includes detailed knowledge of coastal zoning, STR licensing, ADU potential, and 1031 exchanges — the specifics that matter when you're buying or selling in a complex coastal market.
Steve ran his own brokerage for nine years before joining Compass in 2019. He holds the CRS, CNE, ABR, SRS, RSPS, and CLHMS designations, and has been recognized as a WSJ/Real Trends Top 1% California agent and Compass Top 1% San Diego agent.
